Eight Years Seemed Like a Lifetime · 19 January 2009, 10:43 by trickykid

Good bye Bush. You will not be missed for one second. Most Americans have been waiting for this day since election day back in the year 2000.

Now we can start heading in the right direction as a country under a leader with a little bit of integrity, who listens to his advisers, the people and has a little bit of class.

I kept this short, I don’t feel like wasting any more energy on this schmuck!

I actually cried during the inauguration and I never thought I would because I view these ceremonies as mostly silly events, full of pomp and circumstance. I think it finally dawned on me how glad I was to have this cancer excised from the body politic and to see a president who isn’t a sociopath and knows how to string together grammatically correct compound sentences.

I didn’t watch the inauguration, they’re not a big deal to me. I just wanted Obama to hurry up and get to work! :)
