So the headline story on CNN.com today is Gay In Iraq. So I’m reading this article and the first thing that pops into my mind is after the first few paragraphs is, what the fuck!
So Kamal, the main person in the article about being gay and living in Iraq was abducted and kidnapped. They terrorized him but soon realized he was gay cause they had him strip off his clothes and noticed his chest was shaved. He was 16 at the time. I don’t know about you but most 16 year olds I know usually lack hair on their chest. Some men never get hair on their chest. But he was gay but kept a low profile about it cause being gay in Iraq is like having a death sentence.
But what doesn’t make sense is, when they realized he was gay, instead of just torturing him, they also raped him. Okay, so you hate gay people, you want to kill them cause you’re delusional, but if you’re not gay and you rape another person of the same sex constitutes you as being gay as well, right?
We live in a fucked up world where people contradict themselves in not only their words but actions. If you’re against homosexuality due to beliefs and then you rape someone of the same sex to torture them, to me, that just means you’re gay too and should be tortured, raped and killed by your own actions. Stupid contradicting people suck!

This is something I have also never understood. I’ve read about this often. I think partly it is due to the fact that in this region, homosexuality is associated with the man in the “receiving” end. I remembered reading about those two kids that were hanged in Iran accused of homosexuality. This case became a huge international issue. The kids were hanged publicly. One article I read stated how these kids were tortured and raped for the two years they were incarcerated by prison officials. I could never understand it. This irony is sad and difficult to grasp.

Bottom line is, you have sex with someone of the same sex, that’s a homosexual act which makes you a homosexual, maybe not full time but part time. I guess we can come to the conclusion to those that claim their not gay and rape the same sex are bisexual.
And for the record, I’m not against homosexuality, I’m against people getting raped in general.
